A song
Last night at carus we wrote a song together as a community for the first time. As part of this process my good friend Ben wrote this little song (with his tongue firmly implanted in his cheek).

I am like an orange,
My life is so segmented.
I am not reptilian,
I cannot shed my skin.
But God is so columnal,
He supports me with His pillars.
God is all providing
And I am content in Him.
In case you're wondering we did also write a song together to the tune of "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay called "Identity".

Surely the lack of sleep being had by the new father is starting to show...
BTW, thought the song-writing was cool. Interesting now it's all put together to see the different trains of thought and how the words of verse one resolve in the final verse.
