This won't hurt a bit!!

On Monday morning I had to go to the dentist. I'm quite good with check-ups and stuff and I try to keep my teeth in order so these check-ups are as painless as possible (literally & physically!!)
However in recent visits to my dentist I've realised that the moment the chair reclines and she starts working I become strangely and wonderfully invisible.
As I lay there with her prodding around my mouth, she chats away to her nurse as if I am literally not there. They talk about their colleagues, their love lives, their nights out all whilst I lay there.
As soon as she takes the mask off and the chair is back in the seated position they both talk to me normally but for those brief moments I am completely and totally removed from their lines of sight and awareness.
And so my question is this.........what should I do with those moments of pure invisibility??
